Nothing to See Here

I haven’t read any comics this week.  Captain Couch continues his unforgiving nightly assault, and I am powerless to stop him.  The only things I’m good for these days are eating dinner and … well, I guess that’s it.  I don’t even fight him anymore, you know?  By 8:00 p.m., I am well and truly conked, and the Captain revels in his victory until he finally lets me up to go to bed.

So no reviews this week.

Here’s a cat.

  1. The cat made me laugh very loudly. I scared people around :)

    • I should probably clarify that it’s not my cat. :)

      • I’m not sure if you were addressing to me, but I got it. It still made me laugh though, hilarious.

  2. You’re the one comic blogger who I trust to recommend really good books. I’m thrilled that I let you talk me into picking up the new Wonder Woman. Strife laying down the stupid family tree re-work notwithstanding I’m loving it. Issue one felt like my beloved Wondie in my beloved Vertigo multiverse.

I LOVE the Huntress art. I haven’t actually read it yet. I have my own Captain Couch and LONG BOXES (plural) of comic backlog.

    • Thanks for the compliment, Gordon, I really appreciate it!

I can’t imagine having long boxes of backlog … I have about one short box worth of singles and trades and that’s overwhelming to me.

  3. Whoa, did you really make Voodoo #2 your pick of the week or is someone at the store screwing with you again? (I liked it, but that means nothing.)

Also, as any cat can tell you, the word is “HAZ.” Cant u spel?

    • OF COURSE I didn’t pick Voodoo #2! And I’ve already threatened the life of the person who put that in the newsletter. My pick of the week was actually Supergirl #2 … I think. I don’t remember. It was either that or Wolverine & the X-Men #1.

I didn’t make the cat picture, otherwise I assure you it would have been spelled properly. I almost didn’t use it because of that. :D
